I'm awful at pictures but it is lps dominated, soon to be upgraded to a 135. I'm hoping to pick up an Aussie elegance for it.

Ok ladies and gents. I don't know if there is a similar thread that has been buried, but somewhere in a thread similar to this in 07' a guy posted pics of his LPS only rimless Cube that was fricking ridiculous. The sandbed was littered with exotic scolys among other things. I have been searching for it since I saw this thread about 10 minutes ago. Anyone else remember this tank or can post a link? Its killing me and I want everyone else to see his tank as it is about as good as it gets.

GoingPostal -- I like your corals. Is that Gorgs in the background? Also -- what is the coral all of the way over on the right in the sand?
Serioussnaps -- is it the thread where he was accused of looking like a store? If yes ... http://reefcentral.com/forums/showth...5&pagenumber=1

Great looking tanks all.
Bumping this as there has to be more LPS reefs worth showing out there.

Updated shots of my reef as of 1-18-2008:
I just added a Frogspawn a day ago which did not make these shots. Still in progress, as always...

I have 4 tanks and this is the only one that's almost completely LPS. It's nothing fancy. My 7 year old daughter wanted a tank and quite frankly I didn't have another room to put one in besides hers, so I set it up about 5 months ago. I got the LR/sand/my outgrown corals and even the water from one of my three other tanks so it was ready to go.
took these today.... actinic all lights I have two torches, one big frogspawn, a frag on the very top (probably can't see it), a hydnophora, three mangroves, and a derasa clam that will be moved to my MT really soon... the orange at the top is actually some kind of sponge, not a coral. All these corals were in my DT at one time. I just decided to put all my "stinging" corals into one home together since they were either killing other corals or fish. So, these are the corals that have been "bad", but yet instead of giving them to my LFS I just made them a new home!! Excluding the clam, I've had all these for close to 2 years Last edited by scapes; 01/27/2008 at 04:41 PM. |

This is my old 180 (picture taken about 10 years ago lol) but it was all LPS and a couple softies.
I really enjoyed it, now I am stuck in SPS land but I may go back to LPS some day, they were so much easier to keep and grew like crazy! [IMG][/IMG]

I've got 3 54W T5's with SLR reflectors and 1 VHO actinic running off a IC660. I'm waiting for the rest of my stand-offs so I can add 3 more T5's and get rid of the VHO.

Simion, great looking tank! Love the colors.
Agu, what type of lightning do you have for your 10g? And Reefkoi, Wow that tank is impressive to say the least! Do you have any more pics of it?

why this thread has not made thread of the month I'll never know
Actually does anyone know the criteria for a thread being nominated?
