I don't use wave all the time. Just for fun when people come over. You'll be fine.

Oh yeah and I was wondering if you ever tried using metal scrapers like the kent proscraper to remove algae from the glass? I was curious if the starfire glass would be softer than the metal and hence scratch from using a metal blade.

I will only use my Magnavore and a plastic scraper(similar to a credit card). Although, I did use a razor blade once before the plastic scraper and it was OK.

Alright guys, here are some updated shoots. I have been very busy with school lately so as a result you can see a bit of algae growth. I am working on replacing some of my clean-up crew and getting back on track with my water changes.

I upgraded my lights to a single AquaIllumination Sol Blue LED system. It took me a week or so to get used to the light as it appears a bit dim compared to my old 250w. I am quite sure it is putting out similar PAR values and I am currently only running the light at 40%white/37%blue.

FTS, be nice. LED are a bit harder to photograph for me and the algae is embarrassing:

My picasso clown fish:

Few shots of the new light. I plan on cleaning up the wires. I forgot a controller shot:

Misc. corals:

Looking good! I like to think of your tank as my sister tank.

Where is the macroalgae in the refugium?

I have a small ball of it in the middle with a powerhead pointed at it.
