Hi,

I want to get the Mitras for my second tank. Currently I love the "color enhancing mode" of the Radions I have. It may be a bit artificial, but corals look healthy and I got use to it. For the similarity of the leds I guess it will be possible to get close to this mode with the Mitras. Are there some available setups for the Mitras to try to enhance colors?

Thanks!

Thanks. I had seen that place for sharing files. There are not so many, only 3 so far. The initiative to collect them is appreciated. In my opinion GHL should put some effort to collect various modes representing the capabilities of the Mitras, or at least coordinate the ones from the users in the official GHL site. As far as I understand there are only two presets for high power and high efficiency.

yes and no, the project will run but the colours will not be the same due to different LED colours

I believe you will find it on this site www.profiluxowners.com labeled as the Great Barrier Reef project. It morphed into the GBR 6200 project some time around Macna 2013. From what I have been told it was made by rodneyri (who resides in Australia) for the 6100hv.

Here are a few I found, http://www.profilux.es/descargas/cat...x-6100?lang=es

but I am new to this as I got my light yesterday so it will take sometime before I can creat my own graph. I am looking for more of the blue look anyone got anything for the 6100hv? Also I do have the ones in the link above and like one of them. How do I keep the graph but only change the start and end time?
Pictures to follow soon
Michael

hello Everyone

I created a file and would like for you guys to take a look at it and let me know what you think. I took a few PAR readings and unless i did some thing wrong i get a PAR of 81 at 17" inches below the water is this normal? I am running at 100% and high output at my highest setting between 4pm and 5 pm took a look at the file.
Forgot to mention light fixture is 10" above water line
please let me know
thanks
Michael

Greetings.. I've currently got a small 30 gallon reef/fish setup and looking to upgrade to a Deep Sea 200 (72x27x24). Do to the cost of setting something like this up, i expect to setup the basic tank with little more than rock/sand... Just to let the tank become established. Im planning on having two Vortech MP60's and trying to decide on lighting. From what I've read I should get three of the Mitras lamps, but do I REALLY need that much light just to let the tank 'age' for 3-6 months?

Am I going about this all wrong? Thoughts?

What do you plan on keeping in this tank?

At this point, not entirely sure. But a mix of SPS, LPS, an assortment of fish, and maybe a ray.

But for now, I'm wanting to simply setup the tank with just enough fish (or amomium) to cycle it and get things growing. Then add corals, but only after coraline, etc has started to grow.

I know I wan to use the Mitras lamps but uncertain if 1 will be enough for what I need to do right now. From what Ive heard, I will end up needing 3 based on physical size of tank (72x27,24)

two is sufficient for mixed reef, 3 will give you flexibility with coral placement in regards to SPS

balloonpilot does your tank have a single cross brace or 2? For some people it doesn't matter but with 2 cross braces you'll have some shadowing with just 2 units. It's possible you won't see it due to the amazing spread of the Mitras but it is something to take into consideration.

Worse case you could start with (2) units and add a 3rd later if you see it's needed.
