Update:
Did a little more playing around and got up an running with an IP address. I did a complete shutdown from the system page and unplugged everything. Upon startup I logged onto the Archon wireless network and went through the "initial setup" page. Hit send and the Archon was given an IP through my router. (Yay!!!) The only questions I still have are: Isn't the Archon supposed to be broadcasting 24/7 now? And along with that on my "setup" tab page it shows my wireless IP address but no Archon address. Should there be an Archon address? I have neither. Otherwise everything else seems to be functioning properly. Thanks. Rob |

Look and see if it shows up as one of your wifi networks. If it does you can goto it and try 192.168.10.1.

Unfortunately there is no Archon wireless network connection to choose from. Once I went through my initial setup it disappears. I relayed the same info to DA support and their thought was to do a pushbutton (front of Archon) reset to reload the network settings. When I tried this I lost my Archon IP and had to start all over from the beginning to get it back. I let them know I was unsuccessful and will have to wait until tomorrow to hear back.
With my system up and running again (minus the Archon broadcast) I tried a shutdown again from the system page w/ pulling Archon power for a few seconds. First time trying this while having full access to the Archon. All that did was send me to the white initial setup page again. Didn't matter what tab on the Archon screen I hit (Outputs, Inputs, System, Startup, etc.), it sent me to the startup page w/ again no Archon broadcast in my wireless connections. At this point I'm glad I'm up and running wirelessly. I would like to figure out this issue but if it takes a little extra time I can live with it. |

I have really concerning issue I just found. I got home from work and my Archon is not on. I had not done the most recent update yet, I had it planned for tonight. Right now all that it is running is a PB4 that powers the heating loop and an air pump. There is a temp and ORP probe connected right to the Archon. Neither the Archon or PB4 appears to be getting power. I had both plugged into a power strip that was connected to an extension cord to get to the outlet as it is in a temporary arrangement and shouldn't be drawing much power. The plug for the Archon was hot to the touch, very hot in fact. I unplugged it and tried plugging directly into the extension cord, it didn't do anything. The power strip does work, I tested it with some other equipment.
The archon and PB4 are not somewhere that they could get wet. Last night everything was working fine. Any ideas? Really hoping my Archon didn't get fried or anything... |

Sorry for the double post, I just really need to get this solved today. Any thoughts?
I'm hopeful that just the power supply burned out, or is that wishful thinking? I'm considering buying a new power supply, from what I can see the Archon needs a 9V, 1A plug, would this one work? https://smile.amazon.com/ZJchao-Powe...v+wall+adapter |

Yeah, I have a few more of them I just haven't hooked up yet. I'll plug one of them in tonight and see if that does it.
That said the one I have plugged in doesn't indicate getting any power either, even when plugged in and flipped on. Or would it not if the Archon is off? I thought if it was an always on outlet even if the Archon was out the PB4 would continue? Maybe I'm not remember correctly. |

The PB4 should power up on it's own it may only have one indicator light lit though.disconnect all the buss cables and try it.

I had thought so. I don't remember seeing any lights turn on. But I'll check when I get home, especially with the buss cable disconnected.

When the PB4 is unplugged from the archon the green status light flashes. Plugging the buss into the archon the status light goes out completely. I have two PB4s plugged in now and hooked to the Archon and am getting no sign of life from it at all. Anything else to try? Can't imagine three PB4s would make the difference?
Edit- so I sniffed the Archon a bit, it has a very faint burnt smell to it. Can't imagine that is normal. I feel like my power supply fried my Archon. |

You will need to get in touch with DA support on this. Sounds like something is wrong inside the Archon.

Yeah, I'm trying, I emailed twice yesterday and didn't get a thing back from them. Little frustrating to say the least.

With the new update the setup page is listed in the menu bar. The Archon hot spot has the same webpages as the Archon through your net. Are you using 192.168.10.1 for access on the hot spot?

Sounds like same issue I'm having. Even after getting the missing webpages setup file I still cannot get my archon to act as a Hotspot. I've had a couple of exchanges with Eric over a DA and am waiting to get him on the phone to try to resolve my issue. It would be interesting if we were experiencing the same problem.

Do a reset from the front of the archon. I use a finishing nail to push the internal button. Hold for 5 - 10 sec. When the archon appears as a wireless network on your computer, log into it. From there put in the ip 192.168.10.1 and see what you get. Hopefully you'll get the sign in username and password. DigitalAquatics/password should get you signed in. Or in my case I get the old white setup page which is supposed to be gone. When i go that route it gets me on but with no archon hotspot. Interested to see what you get.
