McMaster Carr has chrome plated brass ones...
https://www.mcmaster.com/cga-320-fittings Stainless steel however, seem to be quite expensive domestically. https://www.idealvac.com/CGA-320-Gas...let/pp/P109508 https://regulatortorchrepair.com/pro...ainless-steel/

A little off topic. I finally finished upgrading the turbo in my car. Everything is dialed in just like your regulators. Now I have times to build co2 regulators. Who wants to see a full stainless steel setup with one most the most fine needle valve you can get? Here are some of the pictures of the turbo.

I got lucky on some concoa 312 regulators two weeks ago, will build some systems with them, too much time staying home.... |

It is a Parker Hannifin HR metering valve with bock type valve body, I modified the valve block and put a clippard mouse solenoid on it.

When looking for a regulator, does it have to be specific to CO2, or will any inert, flammable, o2, acetylene, etc rated regulator work? I’m just starting to delve into this project and they all kind of look the same

Most will need to replace the CGA stem w/ the correct one. This is a bit tricky but not rocket science. The stems are normally on very tight and the reg needs good support ect. Single stage "beer" reg are set up for CO2. Acetylene regulators usually don't go above 15psi out.. Depending on use this is a limiting factor. |

Any 24v DC will work as long as it's capable of 166mA or more...could be 100A/24V DC won't matter https://www.burkert.com/en/Media/plm...01000010164ENO |

Yes exactly. I don't want a fire. So with that said, I found one that is 24v dc and 0.76mA and wired that up. It gets hot but other wise seems to be ok. It's been running for about 6hrs or so....I keep checking on it because now I'm paranoid.

https://www.womackmachine.com/engine...coil-burn-out/ Ac coils are hooked to circuits capable of 15A yet the coils are still rated at 4W (36mA) or so.. Can't tell if that was an AC or DC coil in that photo.. so best to read about both. Quote:

considering the use a coil rated for continuous duty is what you want.. |

alan, try the high precision flowmeters, they are really good, the exact flowrate and flow volume (flowrate/time) into the aquarium are known.
I've already make the full range of high precision flow meter data base thread in The planted tank, you can search for them according to the info that I published. |
