My thanks for the previous ID .
This morning I found something that had crawled up the glass during the night. No idea what it is, maybe a pest anemone? It's very small so it was hard to get a good picture. I'll keep trying. Yes, pest anemone. You'll want to remove it asap.

Can you help me figure out what this is? It's in the middle in the back of the rock and my pistol shrimp uncovered it today. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1356918296.316422.jpg

ryno, it looks like some kind of leather. Maybe a finger leather.
kgis, not sure what you're asking about. Can you get a closer pic with whatever it is in the center?

This is another pest anemone I take it? It's a whopping 2mm long.

Kgis, depends on whether you like palys or not. I'd look at it as a fre coral.
Pufferfood, yes it is.

Back again
Found the following on the glass today It's spherical with 4 spikes, set roughly evenly across it forming triangles. There are no discernible openings, though there is a darker line on one side. Back on the glass it seemed to have 3 very thin "long" tentacles, maybe more. it's roughly 2mm in diameter, though it could be slightly below that 1.8mm mayhaps. It appears to be pretty hard. Seems I can no longer edit my post. I thought I would add this, photo of one of the live rock pieces that is curing. There seem to be quite a few of them. Only marked out the ones I saw quickly.

It's a flatworm, probably a polyclad (snail predator), i'd flush it.

Can you ID this
Seeing more and more of these in my sandbed on the glass lately, you can follow a trail of where they have been as they look like they're cleaning.....I have had a pretty bad outbreak of cyno, thats gone from red velvet like to bubbly green. I had recent hand surgery so tank maintenance has been lacking and Im losing most of my hard coral, sps, monti all but dead now. Ar these critters good or bad?

The top picture looks like halimeda. The second picture is neomaris annulata.
