What two are you looking at. I believe the in 80 hasa 5 inch body, the in 100 has a 6 inch body and the in 180 and 250 both have 8 inch body's. Hope that helps.
Model Base dimensions:

Height: Diameter: Wattage: Aquarium Size:
IN-80: 8" x 10" 21.5" 5" 40 Watts 40-80 Gallons
IN-100 8" x 10" 20" 6" 40 Watts 60-100 Gallons
IN-180 12.5" x 10" 24" 8" 70 Watts 100-180 Gallons
IN-250 13" x 10" 30" 8" 145 Watts 150-250 Gallons

The wattage are whats posted but I didnt get that much when I checked it with an amp meter. IT pulled about 60 to 70% of posted wattage.
And thanks for the compliment. It does take alot of time and effort. Not many people want to say thank you. Mos want to argue there skimmer is best. I just try to give an un biased view of the product. THanks again. And enjoy.

Update . I have officially joined the club . Skimmer arrived in great shape . No damage and the package design was well thought out . I took one picture and as you can see it's skimming already .

My thoughts .
The pump intake could have been placed on the opposite side away from the output of the skmmer (.At least for me ) The output tube is sorta directional so this helps . You cannot put the pump on backwards . It will be in conflict of the output tube .
Very easy to use . It appears to have a sweet spot when you are dialing it in . It's as simple as turning the tube to the open or closed position .
It's really weird how the bubble plate is so high up in the body of the skimmer but does show a lot of reaction on this upper part of the skimmer . The lower part is pretty much clear giving the output free of bubbles .
The skimmer is really quiet .Pump fired right up with no issues . Time will tell .
I will post picture in about 3 days to show the skimmate .

Yep . IN 100 .

Tunze controller offline atm . Using a Red Sea wavemaster to break down tank quicker . Calcium reactor and co2 have also been removed . It was really cramped in there . 10 gallon on the right used for evap water. It is connected to a reef fanatic top off system with a mini pump .

im getting a vertex skimmer in the next few days. what model should i order for a 90 gal with a 55 gal sump/fuge? i was thinking the in-180 but not sure if the in-100 would do. i want to make sure it will do the job but dont want to completely overdo it.

Now that's a hard call . That size of that sump/fuge ur doing is the reason . I almost ordered that 2 pump monster Aqua Euro PS 250 since it was at a mad discount . I would lean toward the 180 .The height it needs to operate at means the sump fuge is going to hold at least 25 gallons with good partitions . How much height u going to have in the stand ? The 180 is 24 inches tall .

I am very happy with the choice I made .

I hope someone else chimes in .

Marine Depot . It was around 100.00 It has two switches .One for overflow protection .I did not use the second switch .Keeping it as a spare .LOL I shelled out more for the RF . My homemade switch quit @30.00 and the ultra life @66.95 before that quit too . It is a great quality product . I have had no issues with it . I think it's almost 3 year's old now . Hope u see the hidden message . LOL
Don't forget to show ur pic's and share opinion on the skimmer .LOL

Why does this stuff always happen 2 me. I open the skimmer today only to find the collection cup looks like somebody put it through the dishwasher 1000 times!!! It has a hazey, spider web pattern inside the articlic along with some HUGE scratches. Man how dissapointing!! What in the world do i do now? Do you think PA will send out a new cup? I'm going to call them in the morning, I hope this is a easy fix. Anyone got a friend over there that will be able to get me a new one fast? O and by the way beside the cup this thing looks SWEET!! The pictures don't do it justice. So i guess if i can't use it a least it looks good!!

Sorry to hear what happened . Try the vendor forums for PA . Jason handles that and the email . He usually responds quickly .
