The mandarine is doing great. Fat and happy.

Changed out all the lights on Sunday. Put in a pair of Aquasuns, a pair of actinic white, and a pair of actinic blue. VHO. That and scraping the glass made a huge difference in how nice the tank looks. I've neglected it for a couple months. BUT, I got A's in both classes, so I don't feel too bad. i put the time where it needed to be.

Skimmer problems - the impeller quit turning. When I took the motor apart to clean, metal shavings all over the magnet. Can't find parts anywhere for an Accela. Can't even find an Accela. So I tried a Rio, but can't get the plumbing to fit. Thought I'd try a Maxi-jet. No venturi parts. UGH! I really can't aford a new skimmer and accessories. I'm going skimmerless for now with the light bioload. Hubby said he could mill the proper plumbing. Someday. When he isn't busy. Perhaps I'll just run to the hardware store for plumbing parts.

On the family front - my son won all three wrestling matches last week, and looking forward to more wins this afternoon. Daughter and puppy are excelling in the puppy agility training. i cannot believe how smart this puppy is!!!

Also did some welding for a friend and my work wound up on American Chopper two weeks ago! The Schneider Hybrid Bike used battery packs that I welded the cells together for. It was pretty cool to see it on TV with Paul Sr.! Unfortunately, i had the flu the weekend they filmed. But still, my work was on tv!

I'll post pictures soon. See ya!

Nice to see you posting again--welcome back

Foxfaces-- I lost three last week--and they were all in 24 gal cubes. I guess the cubes don't suit foxfaces.

Look forward to seeing the pictures
