If so, how big is it and what's your secret for its well being?

Yes, that's a Goni. Fully open, it's about a foot all around. I wish know its secrets so I could share. I bought it years ago. Upon purchased, midway to the bottom of the base was dead. At the beginning, I fed it cyclopeeze. Unfortunately, I did not see any feeding responses from it so I stop. Til today, I still don't have the slightest idea what it has been eating.

Congrats for keeping it alive for that long. If I were to take a guess, and based on your other inhabitants, I'd venture that, while gonis are LPS, they 'must' require the same water quality as SPS, as your tank is primarily SPS.

I must say though that, such large specimen must command a very high price tag. May you have many more years enjoying it.

That's a lot of coralline for just 10 months!! What are your perimeters? How much and how often do you do water changes? Do you dose and if so with what?

I just really started paying attention to my tank, as far as testing. I recently got an RODI so with that and doing small water changes a week instead of doing a big WC every month I noticed that my coralline is growing better.

For those with the Reef Breeders, what do you run them at? I have the Phonton 48 and I have mine peak at 100% (blue channel) and 40% (white channel). That's on my 72 Box.

I've been following this thread as I'm redoing my tank. All I can say about Stonecold's tank is WOW! That tank is bad a$$. I wonder if we might get a picture of the original aquascape? I know I'd really appreciate it.
