Can't believe you spent like a whole month building and filling that box for the Siporax. Lol. Very nice. I love looking at your tank.

Simply stunning!

I may have missed a comment or two but do you have any more info on the overflow?

Surprised that your fuge didn't do well with the amount of food you were feeding.

I like the siporax line up. Looks good. I may need to do something like that on my tank. Is it in a high flow area?

Your tank design, live stock and the photos are all amazing!!
BTW I had much better luck getting my nitrates down with ceramic bricks then I did with siporax.

Thank you, actually it only took about a week to stock all this Siporax, worked about 45 min. a day

The overflow is called Xaqua in/out, there is more info online, but here is couple of pictures showing it up close. It works for me very well, and best think is ,it doesn't take any real estate in my tank.

I am surprised as well, but just like I said it only grew cyano and hair algae. I used Siporax on my previous systems and I was always pleased how it worked. I have it in low flow , last chamber of sump, after mechanical filtration and skimmer.

Thank you, I never tried ceramic bricks, as Siporax always worked for me.

Same as before, mostly suns and dendros, and planning about 20 deepwater Anthias soon.

Also re did my siporax , it is now stacked nicely in eggcrate box, 10 liters. Still only few fish in , I have 3 chalk basslets, only one Fathead anthias left of trio and beautiful Sunset anthias male. Starting to seed my sponges for QT , as I am ready to add more fish soon.

I'm stealing this idea for my siporax.

Your tank is definitely one I look forward to updates with.

Glad to see it's doing as well as you planned.

How is the Siporax doing for you?

Thanks, so far so good, corals are doing good, now I am ready to stock with fish
Siporax is doing its job I guess, no problems with nitrates and phosphates, and last time I did WC was couple of months ago. Planning to change 40 gal. next weekend.

They are a gorgeous fish and not easy to keep from what I've been told.

Good job!

Truly beautiful.

Aside from the sunset anthias, are you still planning on a group of ventralis, or have your plans changed?

Good job!
I've had them before, they do very well in dim lit , cooler reef.

No, Ventralis are still in plans, now I just have to wait to find healthy group of them. Plan is to have about 20 Anthias together, and one or two bigger fish like Bandit angel or Tinkeri butterfly.
