I seen a shop local to me today running the radion G4 and all I can say is "wow ". There is not a single doubt in my mind these things can grow coral. I had no doubt before, but I was impressed today. The color was great. He had them over the frag tanks and his display tank(which was more important to me). He has grown massive colonies with them.
Very impressive ![]() Corey |

We just upgraded from Current Orbit Marine (non Pro) LEDs on our 75 gallon lps/softy tank ... We now have 2 XR15 Pros.
The CoralLab LPS program has been imported and I have it set for a 2 week acclimation Question is ... What should start and end intensity be (approx guess) ....I know I may need to adjust in the end Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

When I had three XR15s over a 36"x24"x18" tank, I acclimated from 50% to 75%, now that I'm using the diffusers, they are all up to 100%.

Also what color profiles are you guys running. I figured CoralLab LPS would be solid but it's quite blue.

I've been using the SPS PHX14.
Not as blue during peak time as the LPS. I also tweaked the 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th time points for my preference and added 10% cool and warm whites to the 5th time point so that the tank is less blue towards the end of the photoperiod. |

I keep trying to tell myself that my gen3s are fine and I don’t need to upgrade, and then I see crap like this and I find myself checking my credit card balance lol.

How does everyone acclimate new corals, especially acros.

Following. Running 2 x G4 XR30 Pros ab+ at 46% intensity with diffusers. Should I turn them up more? 4ft long/ 24”deep SPS dominant tank. Thanks,
Jon |

You apparently lose close to 20% of power so you're at 26%. Looks like you have to turn it up.

I plan on 3 XR30W Gen 4's over my 180 gal SPS dominated tank over the next few months.

As with all intensity increases, I personally would do 5% per 7 days.

Thanks! I assume to stop if corals start to bleach or move the coral down? Also, I heard if the coral is looking dark to move it up in the water column? Talking about acros and other SPSs, thanks.
