Thank you.

Yes they are designed to be able to slide on the rails.

It has all of the cabling except the mini usb port needed to update the firmware on a pc. You may already have one as they are a pretty standard cable for a lot of peripherals like digital cameras, navigation systems, and some phones.

They are standard male to male 3.5mm stereo audio cables.

Cool, thanks! My appologies for asking a bunch of questions here that don't pertain to PAR. I just got carried away with my excitement in getting these and have been reading this thread for a couple of weeks so I knew you guys had been through all this already. I'll start another thread with all my installation and mounting questions.

Great thread! Really getting a lot of information on AI. My only problem is i cant find any sol blues for purchase. I have called around and most distributors said that they wont have the sol blue's in for around 3-4 weeks.

Does any one know of any distributors that have the sol blue now?

What should I do? I waited a lot for this AI modules and I just don't want to send it back for them to switch that single puck.

My set up configuration of the AI modules needs the 70 degree optics for better coverage

I got 2 modules mounted parallel on a 48x18x18 tank

I got mine from SoCal Tropical Fish a few weeks back. They had several still in stock at the time. Worth a shot.

watson, you have a build thread?

that's a killer sump. would love to know more about your system. (as an aside i'm in the market for a skimmer and i see your bk mini in there, is on my list but not sure it's worth the price over some of the other options out there)

I am waiting on delivery of my 5 sol blues that will go above my 60" long 24" wide 24" deep tank. One of my goals is to get some more PAR on the sandbed so I can get some more clams.

Should I just order the 70 degree optics straight away?

Ok
This is second time hearing about the 70degree reflectors, what do the SOL Blue come w/ out of the box?
Are they something I could install myself?
I would hate to have to send them in

PAR on the bottom of my 21" deep tank was 700 w/ all 3 LEDs @100%
If that helps

V V V Straight from AI the modules look like this V V V. Most people change out the 40 degree optics to 70's (Like I did) to get a more uniform and even "PAR" and "Visible Light" spread.

Check out the previous posts... This question has been answered before numerous times... And "Yes" the Optic Lens Swap Outs are a breeze.
