There is a noticeable disco affect on the sand, however, not sure if that is due to the height, I'm sure I'll get used to it. So far, I like the Vegas much more than my Halide/VHO setup.

There is a noticeable disco affect? That's not good...

Oh yeah, and little to no product documentation included? Lame! AI had plenty of time to put together some documentation/instructions.

For real! How about a rechargeable controller? Why have a cord to unplug when it's needed to run the thing?

Can someone explain the lunar cycle? I turned it on and all my lights went out and never came on until I plugged the controller in and disabled it many hours later .

pretty week on the "wireless" controller part of having to be plugged in, i mean whos idea was that.

that being said i want one but would end up changing 2 pucks to get some uv in there and that seems like it would all run me around $700 just for one. not to mention the rail system so im starting to double think. If the radion finally shows what its upgrade is gonna look like at MACNA plans might change.

Lunar cycle should be set at a time outside of your normal light timer.

Other thoughts on the controller: Weather effects do not work, lunar cycle does not work, coral acclimation mode does not work... or could it be that we're just not doing it right, yet we don't have any instructions? If I set each of these to enabled, then save, then go back to main menu, nothing happens, go back to each feature and they're all disabled...

Lunar cycles will only light the LED by certain ratios of the % of LED set through the night depending on the phase of the moon. Let's say you set the RB channel at 5% at night and have the lunar set. If you are at a phase where the moon is full you will get 5% RB, if there is no moon you won't get zip just as you wouldn't if the moon wasn't in the sky

Don't forget that PAR meters read blues up to 25% low.

That's fine and all, but when I go to enable the lunar cycle, if I save it, exit the screen, and then go back to it, it says disabled... Is this the expected behavior?

My coral acclamation works and I tested with the meter. Weather works but if I want to demo it it should be instantaneous instead of hoping that it'll storm or toggle on/off multiple times.

My controller froze once in lunar, had to unplug it.

When going to weather it asks if you want to start it now, turn that to yes and save. It will go for 15 min immediately.

I unplugged the units, and the controller, then plugged in the units, and then the controller, searched, and got nothing. SO Then I plugged the controller in and then the lights and still nothing. Anyone got any suggestions?

My all on or all off button didn't work so I plugged it into my computer and hit the update button. Now I have a controller stuck on the firmware update screen! Before that happened I was in love with them. Im thinking ill run 2 at 50% over my 90.

I was experiencing the crazy controller blues, then i plugged it into my laptop USB and everything worked great. Except the weather feature not sticking. So I think the issue with the ultra sensitive and spastic controller is with the USB wall plug. It works great plugged into the laptop. I'm going to try an I-phone USB wall plug and see how that works.

So far i love the light (will post pics tomorrow morning).
Anyone else noticing that the red LEDs spotlight much much worse than any of the other colors?

I cannot really turn the reds up above ~10% without seeing some major spotlights. No other colors have this issue.

The reds are the only one that spotlight. I am going to move one of the red pucks to the outside and see if that helps.

My all off doesn't work either. Wish they put some weight in the controller, wait, perhaps a battery would!

If I touch it for 3 seconds they all turn off.

Seems AI has a few unhappy customers. I have a support email in and will update when I get their answer.

I am on INDMAS. I'll probably start a build thread there in a couple of weeks.
