I have emailed you 3 projects including 2 popular ones that have been passed around over the years. Give it a try once you get the connection to the software.

[QUOTE=ReefRockerLive;24551952]If you do not see "GHL Virtual Communications" listed in Device Manager when the Mitras is connected via USB, then you will have to manually install the driver.

Here's how to do it:

1. Go to "This PC" and select your hard drive
2. Double-click on "Program Files x86"
3. Double-click on "GHL Control Center Vxxx" *Your newest version of GCC
4. Double-click on "Driver"
5. Select "dpinst_x86" or x64 and follow the install prompts.

Once that is done, you can go back to GCC and connect.

Make sure that you either have the Mitras connection in GCC either set to Auto or match the COM number of the GHL comm. driver.[/QUOTE

i already tried this but still cannot.
is there any other way to connect with my mitras?

I just did this yesterday. You have to set the right COM instead of using the "auto" option. The COM number is in the device manager for the GHL virtual com. Mine is 4.

It is not very intuitive, but worth it once you get it done.

I am in a fem days goint to place an order for some mitras and a PLM-PWC card. Can this card be placed in a expansion box or does it needs to be inside the P3? What is the "range" for this card?

I have my filtersystem in the basememt, and the display in the floor above (expansion box).

Did you guys see the new price through August 1? Wow. At that price if I didn't just switch to t5 I would have bought a second unit and hung both over my tank.

Wow at $639.90 these are cheaper than Radion Pro fixtures. Better spread, better color blending, more intense lighting, more functions for less? Wow!

You need to be using the correct com port. With the light connected and powered on, go to device manager and look COM & LPT. Click on that and in there should be a USB device with a com number next to it. See photo below.

It could be that or it could be that you still need to load the driver. Do you have an exclamation mark in your device manager under one of the lines?

Has anybody successfully been able to run their Mitras on an Apple computer without running Windows on it?
