Sigh. 49 hrs and the tank is only 2/3 filled. Must have gotten cold last night enough to slow down the RO unit. Still have the sump and fuge to fill.

Lol! Its all good. I had to stop dripping the RO for a while too fill up my topoff reservoir. Oh well. Anyways instead of making some boards to seal the gap between the back of the tank and the wall, I just decided to get some cheap bookshelfs. Man, it fits in ther almost like a glove.

Thats a great idea about the bookshelves. They look like they were meant to be there.

Thanks guys. I couldnt find a bookcase that matches the stain of my stand/canopy but for 24.99 ea at Staples, oh well. Anyways, going on 72 hrs of dripping and its abot 1/4" away from going in the overflow. The good news is, the close loop is running. Im going to start adding salt here in a few.

Thanks Christine! Randal, Ill start transfering the livestock from the 90 after the swap. I have some T5s coming in this week for supplemental lights but I will be using my halides from my 90. As far as procedures on how to transfer the livestock, well I havent gotten that far yet. Btw, sump is filled and is starting to drip into the fuge. About 20-25 more gallons.

Doesn't your skimmer have a hole to empty the skimmate?

It has a drain but I plugged it up for now. Im not going to use the drain for right now since its filling up so quick. If would prolly overflow and fill a 5 gallon bucket in about 30 mins. Ill let thing settle down before i tuen the skimmer on.

Wow, I'm used to my little prism pulling a little bit each week. Not five gallons in 30 mins.

Been there, done that. Once your skimmer calms down it should pull it out nicely. I did some big water changes when I was cooking my rock. About 80% three times before the yellow went away all while the skimmer was pulling crud.
That may not be feasible in your situation. I sure the carbon will help a lot there.

And let there be light! Supplemental lights that is. 4 24W HO T5s for the dusk and dawn effect.
