Wow...much more diverse than the tide pool I go to here in Malibu, CA. On our menu we have a bunch of anemones, clams, sea stars (pretty huge ones), nudibranches, urchins, some big crabs and lobsters and then the land/air crew of sand skippers, pelicans and seals.

Wow! Thanks for sharing! I went to the tidepools in Barbados but it was not nearly as diverse as this!! No cool anemones and acros. Only a ton of macrofauna, urchins and cucumbers. (they're actually not bad to eat. Very gooey/jello-y but tasty if cooked right!) hehe!!

Were I'm at your looking at $350 for a male scribbled. Was the scribbled in the bucket a male? Did you keep it?

Not sure what sex it was. No we didn't keep that one.

For some reason the ones that we collect from this area do not eat too well in captivity. But the ones collected from another place. Caught on a small hook with prawn as bait take to captivity very quickly and eat like pigs.

Added a Google Map link to the collecting places. Thanks to "Adtravels" for the idea in his thread.

Yep, Lewy's been banned from the forums.

And we have an upcoming trip back out to the reef in the next fortnight, so unless there's a way to get Lewy back, there's not going to be any more photo's I'm afraid.

It appears as if someone hacked Lewy's account and was posting spam. We are anxiously awaiting a dialogue with Lewy.
