Are you running activated carbon/GAC? At the start of the thread you mentioned that you stopped running that because the corals were pale etc. IF you havent resumed GAc/carbon usage, will you do so at some point?

I'm wondering how you deal with the yellowing of the water. Thanks.

Yes, I started using carbon again, around .75-1 pound on my 125.

Thank you. Those 2 were big time sleepers, finally found a good spot for the pretty in pink and it has never looked better and it is still getting better. The Crimson I've had for 2 years. Haven't seen another piece like it.

Update

I've added a Moorish Idol to the 220 last week, and it has done well. It eats most of the frozen foods I use and is decimating the sponges in the tank. Huge chunks are missing from some of the large sponges that occur through the tank. It hasn't eaten pellets yet and is fattening up.

Hung, I continue to drool over every single picture you post! Obviously you have the special sauce my friend. The perfect match of biology, technology, and artistic touch. You weren't kidding when you chose your handle. Hats off.

Amazing collection!!
What do you think about radion g2 pro combined with 4 t5 in a 93 gallon tank? You have said t5 get best colors, but I would like to know your opinion about this mix. Your intuition i mean. And what combination of t5 you'd choose?
Could you pass me your radion configuration please? (I will send you my email if you are agree)

Congratulations!!!

A) 1 radion g2 pro + 4 t5 39w
B) 10x39w Ati powermodule

Thanks!

Amazing collection! Any tips on getting those colours to really come out? comparing your early pics of things like Pretty In Pink to the later ones, it's almost hard to believe they're the same pieces.. Where do you keep your PO4 levels?

Thanks Nate, it takes a lot of patients, and a lot of trial and error to get everything perfect. Still not where I want to be yet, I am fine tuning things a bit now and just gonna let everything sit back grow and color up.

Sure I can send my schedule just send your email. Radions and t5 would work good, but if you were I'd maybe hold back on the radions as the g4s may come out soon, but I haven't heard anything yet. I'd use 2 blue plus, 1 purple and 1 actinic plus the radion.

T5 would be the best, 1 radion would not cover a 36 inch tank well unless it is suspeneded high up. I used 2 over my 30x30x24.

Yea, the pretty in pink did not do much until I moved a piece under t5s. I dose some kz products and that does seem to help with colors. I haven't tested po4 in about a month, I usually estimate depending on the amount of algae is growing. I run a high nutrient system.

Thanks the Hades is one my favorite and most unique pieces I have. Under t5 it is a deep red with bright yellow tips and under the radion it is orangey red, with slight yellow tips but the polyps are beautiful under the radions they almost glow, and stick out under the blues.

Just got this guy, a Pintail Fairy wrasse, I just to late to grab the female. Hopefully the female flame doesn't mess with it.

You don't want to pair fairy wrasses anyway, it almost always ends with two males. That male looks beautiful!

Thanks Brett, it would be nice to have a pair though, never had 2 males before unless one of the females was already changing. had 5 flame wrasses at one point and 2 turned male at the same time, but never had a pair change to both male. This was the most colored up male they had. They had a smaller one as well.

Just released the pintail today. Still very shy but no aggression which is good.

I will. t5 will most likely bring the corals to their full potential.

I saw a pintail wrasse at a shop, today. They are very pretty.. I didn't buy it as I already have a few fairy wrasses and I didn't want to see my newly spent money jump out of the tank..
Nice though!

Yea, I know what you mean. Had plenty of fish jump out on me through the years. It is a good thing I have a top on. There has been no aggression between it and the flame wrasse.

I've also been noticing colors to become more vibrant and bolder under t5s. I've gotten orange out of what was green and red polyps from previous corals that had nothing before. T5s seem to be best for coloring acros up.

TankMaster. How high off the water are your radions? How deep is your highest acro?
