Basically the pump is great for the price, but customer service and support is terrible. I guess the CS depends on where you get it from. I have not heard anything about CS from anyone except Fish-Street.com. |

Oh, wow, thanks for the info Sacohen!!!
I will definitely let them know as I did order through Fishstreet. Other than that this thing is pretty neat. I will get around to ordering the variable supply unit so I can see if I can use else mode in my tank. |

What size tank do you have?
I had this running Else mode on full 24v until I got my variable supply and it was not to bad, It took a little adjusting for placement and angle, but I had good movement in the tank and nothing was getting destroyed. I put my Variable power supply on last week and I'm not sure if I'm happy with it. I have it set at like 21v. When I hooked a voltmeter up to the output and adjusted the dial 15 and 18 v were virtually in the same position and 21v was a good bit up the dial. I'm thinking of going with the PWM board, but don't know that much about it. there has been reports that the one in this post works and it is $9.30 (Free shipping). http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...postcount=1783 I found one which looks similar for 6.99 (including Shipping). http://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-12V-24V-P...item2328b15b77 |

I had a bad power cord and issues with the night sensor. My gripe is with the customer support or lack of it. |

I can't imagine what the WP25 support will be like. Non existent I bet for what you will be paying for a smaller scale, cheaper pump.

It will probably be the same.
Again I've only have and heard of support with Fist-Street.com I can't speak for any of the others selling it, but from what I've read the manufacturer is wiping their hands of it and leaving support up to the distributor. You have to keep in mind that the people selling it on EBAY are getting it from Fish-Street.com,so you are dealing with at least a third party seller. I was also told by the manufacturer that Fish-Street did not purchase the pumps directly from them they bought them from their distributor in China. |

Fish-Street and Jebao both confirmed to me that there were issue with the power cord.
I don't really see how, it is a pretty straight forward thing. |

Just wanting to give some feedback...i read somewhere in here that someone was skeptical to put this in a 60g cube. here is a video of mine in the 60g cube(sorry for terrible quality)
http://youtu.be/M1bg208p2Gc Originally as mentioned, the pump was a little too strong for the tank and i had to mount it lower until i got the ac adapter and am now running it at 18.5v. Seems to be doing fine and gives the tank some good flow. Just gotta tweak around with the placement of the pump |

I notice pretty much everyone has this on wavemode. How is it working out just as a powerhead? I am thinking about one for my 90g but already have a tunze wavemaker...just need more random flow.

I have mine on the "ELSE" mode similiar to a vortech reefcrest mode. I feel it would go great with a tunze wavebox. You could get two and take the wavebox out and free up some space... And still do a wave or random ...

I also use else mode. I feel waves are a bit of a gimmick. It works great in this mode.

Fish-Street seems to be pretty good about fixing actual problems. This seems like something they would cover. |
