Also, like I said I have been running the chinese LEDs for a while...i dont want to stress out the frags I have and most importantly the RBTA that has been nice and puffy for a long time on the bottom of the tank...how should I do the switch from the LEDs to the T5...is it as easy as just putting the new fixture or should i do it gradually?

Thanks again for all the help!!
Purple plus in slot 2 and coral plus in 4. You might want to run just the dusk/dawn for 10 hours or so with the other 4 lamps on 3 or 4 hours to start and ramp it up from there until they are used to the intensity.

Same fixture here (current nova extreme pro) if I used the GE 6500K would you do the same placement but put the GE in place of the coral plus?

Ya that and the reflectors are another big part of it.

Hey Grim, I have a TEK Elite 39w x 6 bulb with 4 ATI Blue + one Purple + and one Coral + but my question is how high should I have this light off the water on a 40 breeder? I currently have it about 5 1/2 inches off the rim but I lose a ton of light....

anyone know if the fishneededit 30" unit uses 24" bulbs (preferred!) or 30" (non-standard) bulbs?

If you are ok with your house burning down go for it.

You'll Burn your house down, You'll burn your house down

I Kill me.

Do 3 ATI Blue Plus and 1 Coral Plus. I really know nothing about that fixture but at long as the tank isn't over about 18 inches tall you should be OK.

Another one for you Grim.
I bought an Aguatinics Constellation last night and installed it today. It is a 54 watt 7 bulb T5 with 3 ATI Aguablue Specials, and 4 ATI Blue Plus. I'm putting it over a 125g 4'x2'x2'. I have mostly SPS with a few LPS. The fixture came with the bulbs I listed above, but I'm guessing it may not be the best color combo. The bulbs are only 3 months old so I'll save any that I replace for future use with any reccomendations you may have. While you're at it can you let me know the best order to place the bulbs in. I have attached a sketch to show what I have now. I'm hoping to get a mixture of good growth and good color.
Thanks for your help.

Replace 2 of the aquablues with a ATI Purple Plus and Coral plus. Play with the positions to get the look you like for dusk/dawn
