Added prodibio bio digest during cycle.. Is that bad?
Hello,
I added a vial of bio digest in the beginning of cycling of my new tank. I figured introducing those bacterias would help. Any thoughts on this? Thank you |

Just add 1 flake of ordinary fish food per ten gallons: that's absolutely enough. There is no way to hurry a cycle.

The tank will cycle on it's own time schedule regardless of adding bacteria or just feeding the tank as Sk8r suggests.

Might not help much, but it can't hurt. I'd rather introduce some bacteria than hope a spore of some SW compatible denitrifying bacteria happens to fall into the tank. I usually do this with a small piece of mature live rock though.
