Concernometer....Acclimation Bag Falling!
I guess I'll find out regardless but got an open Brain today and during the initiall stages of acclimation (bag floating for temp stability and slowly dripping water to acclimate) the bag fell in the tank, probably in there for 1 min but obviously enough time for tank water to fill the rest of the bag (previously half full).
So should everything be fine or may permanent damage have occured to such quick acclimation. Coral still floating in tank with no more tank water dripping in. Not sure what type of open brain this is exactly but it is very very fleshy, in a cone like shape (not pinneaple brain). It has now deflated to about half its size... So should I be very concerned or are these guys way hardier to let an acclimation blooper ruin their life? Last edited by StinkinTuna; 01/31/2006 at 06:23 PM. |
