Dosing pump

Looking for recommendations on a good dosing pump setup. I’m waiting to dose calcium, alk, and magnesium. I don’t have any type of controller so a programmable setup would be preferable.

People have reported good luck with a lot of pumps, including the BRS pumps. I have used MasterFlex pumps, but I got them secondhand through another reefer. They are expensive when new.

I use BRS and a dual outlet timer. Timer isn't as convenient as a controller but it's several hundred dollars less expensive and is reliable.

I've been using an Aqua Medic 4 EVO for about a year now and it's been reliable. Has its own programmable controller and 4 pumps. The only potential drawback, especially on a small tank, is it only goes down to the milliliter (ml) level. If you need fractions of ml then you probably need to look elsewhere.

Second this.
i will say DONT get a smart timer. I have been screwed a couple times by this. It sounds nice to buy a 30$ timer with wifi and you can schedule "to the min" dosing times.

If had it fail many times in the on position (firmware updates, power surge...ect)
