3 1/2 year reef with a 1 year old DIY stand

I bought a 125 gallon All Glass tank, which was used and had a makeshift plywood stand which was gaudy to all get out

, but I started a reef tank from scratch and had the reef up and running for a while until i got a bug in my butt about making my own stand with a canopy. I could not fit all my equipment in the crappy stand it came with so i wanted to create my own. It wasn't easy as a lot of planning is involved since it was already an established reef tank. I did everything myself and knew exactly how i wanted it. I want to share this build to give someone else some ideas on what they possibly could do. I got a lot of help and ideas from this site but in the end I had to make it for me, and what I wanted. Its worth having a kick butt stand because you are not just keeping fish.

You are reefing. And you reef everyday. So make a stand that works, but also handy.
