Grass shrimp + H. erectus compatible?

Are juvenile grass shrimp (Palaemonetes pugio) compatible with an adult Hippocampus erectus? I kinda want some shrimp for pets.

By "juvenile" I just mean greater than 1 cm. I don't mind if anything smaller gets eaten.

The H. erectus will most likely consume them. Once they get a taste for them, they will sometimes snick larger ones until they kill them and split them up into sizes they can consume. Adult specimens in the 4 to 5 cm range may do ok for a while. Life span for these is relatively short but they are abundant on the East and Gulf coasts.
