Which dreambox would fit Red Sea Reefer 425 XL
Im guessing the NANO M....with inverted intake/outake but will the metric fittings will fit the drain pipes for the reefer. Thanks

The Nano should fit with the reversed intake but we would need to get the exact measurements of the inside of the cabinet to be certain. The metric tubing should fit just fine. Silcone is very pliable and can be easily stretched over the fittings so even standard imperial silicone hose should work fine. If you want metric, I would consult RedSea to verify the inlet and outlet sizes on that display.

The current stock sump is 27.5" (L)x 20" (W) x 16.5" (H). The drains are to the right and the return pump to the left. However I noticed the Nano sumps have 4 red drain tubes in various sizes. Would it be possible to remove those tubes and just have the Red Sea drains going directly into the sump? In fact is it possible to remove the whole of the top cover? |
