Feedback on this powerhead

Saw this CoralVue High Seas 202B double propeller and labeled to deliver 3000 gph (combined output for both propeller) for $44.95. Has anyone used this before?

Mixed. Some say it's not quite up to the quality of the original Koralia, and some say its a decent unit.

I'd go Koralia or this one:

I'm getting rid of my Koralia for the one above. I actually may go two 320's instead of one 530.

Thanks. Looked at the Seio you were talking about. Their P1500 for the same price as the coralvue is only rated 1500 gph. Also, seio powerheads/pumps had quite a reputation if I remember correctly.

I think it's about 75% like it, 25% don't. Not too bad.

As long as you get it from a reputable place, if anything goes wrong, just return it for a refund.

I know DFS is very generous about returns. So I'm actually going to do 2x 320's.

Seio is made by the Rio folks, and their reputation is pretty poor. Melting powerheads in the tank IIRC. I haven't heard alot about the Seio's being a bad powerhead though.

I know Rio made some junk, but it looks like they have a decent PH in the SEIO Prop.

It's worth the shot for me, because I need a Koralia 2, but in my 14g it just isn't happening. WAY to big.

Aside from a MP10, this is my last option.

Agree that the koralias are too bulky. I don't like mine either. Was thinking I can replace 2 of the koralias with the coralvue. Although I am not sure about the dimension of the latter.

I have the seio 1500 in my 46 bowfront...It's kind of bulky IMO, of course it's in a 46 so take that for what it's worth. As far as how it works, it's pretty good, I don't have any real complaints.
