Just received supplements, a few questions

Just received some AF supplements from BRS.

Pro Bio S
NP Pro
Vitality
Energy
Build
Amino Mix
Power food

My tank information is as follows:
50 gallon total volume
Ca:420 Alk: ~8.1 Mag - 1550 (trying to lower)
Nitrate: 2 Phosphate: .02
Low Bioload -- feed once per day

My tank is still frags so my alk consumption is low and I am using kalk to keep up. I want to begin carbon dosing but am not sure how large of a dose I should start with since my tank is already low nutrients. I want to achieve the pastel look that Debora has in her tank.

I am also running BRS GFO. Should I take this offline when I begin dosing carbon?

Hello,
Here you can see video about Aquaforest supplements:

For now there is no need to turn GFO off but maybe now it will be too much?
Pro Bio S, -NP Pro, GFO

Your nitrates and phosphates are low already so be careful with reducing to totally 0.

What is the desired nitrate level for pastel colors? I am very confused by carbon dosing because on one hand people are saying they acheive .2 nitrate to get pastel colors but on the other people are saying if you have nitrates at 2 you need to be careful or you will crash the tank?

Should I dose 1 drop of NP pro per day? 1 drop every other day?

I'd say you'd like to have your nitrate at around 2 to 5ppm . Each tank is different though . It's always recommended to dose at half the recommended dose and observe your corals. Do all of your changes slowly and you won't have any issues.

What I have found on further testing is that my nitrates are very low. I just did a salifert nitrate test and it comes back completely clear. I am going to slowly start dosing ABEV and power food to see if I can get a little color to show up on the test.

Also I was just opening the box for my Coral A and it smelled very strongly of the amino acids. Is this normal during packaging? I checked for a leak and there was none.
