im about to order one but kinda worried that i dont have enough clearance to get the reaction chamber out when installed in my sump/cab. my tank: Tank specs: Cadlights * 68G Versa Starfire aquarium 35.5" x 19.5" x 21.5". 10MM thick glass. Overall height is 57" with cabinet and tank. * 35.5" x 19.5" x 36" professional Polished Gloss Black or Gloss White Marine grade MDF cabinet. * Spacious 25G 30 x 15 x 13, 3-chamber multi-purpose and high compatibility sump. Also, which one for my system.. looking to run mainly GFO. Currently just run a cup of it in my current reactor. |

I have the small one w/ a Sicce nano pump. I got in on the pre-order. Have had it for awhile but am just getting around to installing it as I type.
The removable media chamber is 15 3/8" when removed. The pump chamber is right at 11" by itself. Both pieces assembled and running in my sump are 18 1/4". Hope that helps. |

testing spy glass
I'm a little disappointed in my nano, running 2 cups regular pellets in mine(as stated in the instruction), the ball gets stuck majority of the time causing clumping . I really do not think that the nano pump can deal with it.
Have you run into this ? Thanks, |
