Comparing Costs of Salt Mixes
If it costs $40 to prepare 200 gallons of Instant Ocean salt mix at 1.022 SG, how much would it cost to prepare 120 gallons of Seachem salt mix at 1.026 SG?
For extra points, please answer in the form of a Haiku or Limerick.

Just? I actually just switched from salinity to IO. Why you ask? Bc I'm cheap and thought it wouldn't be that bad.. Well my pH has been as low as 7.4 and I feel like I go through IO a lot faster.

Gold moon fills the sky. Can salt be measured by cost? Or by coral’s growth?

I use Reef Crystals and am happy with it, had D-D Pro, great but expensive, had the Salinity and while cheap, did not like it. Best place for salt is Road Commission, just kidding.

LFS has 200gal box of Reef Crystals for $50; makes about 175 gallons, so $0.286/gallon.
Thinking of switching to Red Sea Coral Pro because of brown particulate matter I keep getting with IORC. It's hard to compare costs, though - the rated gallons per box on salt depends on the SG and not all brands clearly state this. The hobby's expensive, but given that there are several good salt mixes from which to choose, you might as well save money where you can.
