For the last twenty years Tampa Bay saltwater has been the source for the highest quality aquacultured live rock in the industry.

Of course I still offer the finest quality aquacultured live rock, but now you can use at home what I use in the Gulf of Mexico, and grow your own live rock if you want too! This rock is incredibly porous, full of holes, nooks and crannies. I have been all over the world searching for the perfect aquaculture candidate and THIS IS IT! This is real coral rock, the perfect host for marine organisms in your tank. This rock will mature very quickly as it is the substrate that the marine organisms and corals are looking for when they are looking for a "host" home. This rock can be shipped very economically, as it is dry rock and does not require the handling that aquacultured rock does. No permits needed -Customs-US Fish and Wildlife

Also I have shipped aquacultured rock to Canada, VIA a US airport many times. Nobody has ever encountered any problems at the border, just declare it, pay some tax as the Canadians have there own designation for cultured rock. It is taxed and recognized as 'limestone' by them. Richard what's the best way to order from you if I have a specific structure in mind that I'd like to build? Can you take a diagram and match me up with appropriate pieces? I'll need some larger ones and hopefully a few that are sort of ledge-like.

For the order form do we just put what we want in the Additional comments or questions area? Safe to assume $1/lb for shipping to 14623(thats what I found looking at UPS)

Another 3150 pounds hits the bottom of the gulf today 5-06-09
Got another load offshore to the aquaculture site today, 5-06-09.
 Nice morning, seas flat calm  I go early!  Heading out between the islands to the Gulf  30.1 MPW with 3150 pounds of rock on board...good ole Yamaha 250 four stroke!  Sun says hello!  Nice big piece!  Lots of holes!  This piece has a flat bottom and stands up by itself.  Got rough on the way in, three to four foot waves with whitecaps, if it was like that this morning, I could not have gone out! sea ya Richard TBS |

Another beautiful flat calm day, and another 3150# of rock hits the bottom!
Was a beautiful day today, am so thankful summertime is here.
Deployed another 3150 pounds of rock to the bottom of the Gulf!  Another early morning!  On the way to the Gulf and the sun is just waking up.  Little faster going out today as it was sooooo calm!  What a day!  Holes everywhere!  Heading home, and flying along!  Still a calm day on the trip home. I will be deploying another load tomorrow, and diving for liverock, so if you are waiting for a part two, or need liverock, this weekend will work! Sea ya Richard TBS
