I have a linkia multiflora in my tank and he is a great tankmate. I have yet to see it bugging any of my corals.

Ive had a blue linkia for about 3 years. Great reef inhabitant, never bothers a thing. Although, I dont see him much, only during dawn. dang nocturnal starfish!

They do really well, but I wouldn't try to keep them if the tank isn't over a year old, though maybe it could be done. Mine have never caused a single problem, but make sure that if you do get any, that your powerheads are covered so that they can't go into the slits and get injured:

I have both in my tank with now problems, my linka likes to hide, and my sand sifting star likes to go all over.

I have never seen the Linckias that I have interact or act aggressively in any way with each other. All the starfish in my reef completely ignore one another.
