Which heater and controller do YOU use?

I recently upgraded to a red sea max 130 tank and after letting it run for a day I noticed the heater that it came with had shot my tank up to 90 degrees. It was a sweet deal on the tank but I wish I had known that the heater was busted. I am in the market for a heater and maybe a heater controller and wanted some recommendations. I currently use Via Aqua in two of my tanks but I am wondering if I should pay the extra 10 to get an eheim.

Also which temperature controllers do people use? It seems that all of them are in the same price range of a controller that does everything, except for the finnex one on amazon.

Also use 2x Eheim plus Apex combo. About as bullet proof as you can get i think.

I use two via qua titanium heaters. No complaints. Quality build and I like how I can mount the controller out of the water in a remote location. I also have an eheim jäger for my qt tank and it is also very nice and the dial gauge is pretty spot on to what my via aqua digital gauges are. Both of them I can recommend with confidence.

3 300 watt aqueon and an Apex. The 15amp limit on the APEX is giving me problems and will probably require me to buy a second energy bar. As a newbe to this hobby, the first lesson I have learned is to pay much closer attention to power consumption.
