Snail ID please
My tank is 1.5 years old so not exactly new but this is the first time i have seen this. It was at the base of a frogspawn eating bubble algae pieces. I pruned bubble algae tonight and I have seen these eating the parts I missed.

do you have a "profile" shot of it? many snails looks alike from the top, but a profile shot can help.

Reef safe and they are munching on bubble algae left overs I missed on the rocks. I hope they breed more. |

They seem to reproduce well in my system. Every once in a while when my main lights go out and just the blues are on, ill see one or two of these guys climb to the highest rock in the tank and squirt eggs into the water column. |
