tunze osmolator nano 3152 questions
I just got two tunze osmolator nano 3152s for my tanks. I'm really hoping that they are good about warranty because the plastic piece that houses the sensors arrived broken for one (one of the clasps).
But two questions: How the heck do you get the controller apart? I don't know if it comes set for a big tank (3 minutes) or small tank (1.8 minutes) and I can't for the life of me get that thing apart. How do you get the bare wires to be in the little clamp things. There are two openings, but even when I put the wire in and squeeze down, it just pops open. Am I not squeezing hard enough? Help!

I recently broke my sensor housing when moving things around in my tank. When I contacted Tunze, they were willing to replace it if I had received it within 15 days. I hadn't, so I just bought a new housing. $7.00 with shipping.
To insert the wires, you squeeze the rectangular clamp then put the wires in the hole. It's spring loaded, so when you release the clamp it grips the wires. It should come set up for small tanks, so you shouldn't need to take the housing apart. You can always time it to check. |
