MH question

ok heres the story

when i first bought my current USA sunpod (70w 14k wh) it burned a really nice blue color which i like
10months went by so it was time to change bulbs

i bought the same bulb again(powerpaq 14k) and for the 1st 2months it burned nice again and really blue

3rd month arrive and I notice one day the bulb more of a whitish color than blue
couple days later the bulb starts burning a whitish yellowish color

up to this day my bulb burns visually at different K ratings
for example last week it was really nice and blue and this week its so whitish yellowish

what could be the problem?

would it be the bulb or the ballast thats not working properly?

my fixture has been running for over a year now so could age of the ballast be the problem?

room gets to 90+ degrees durring all seasons other than winter so this might be the problem

or defective bulb

can anyone help
its making everything in my tank look ugly sometimes

the k rating it appears at durring the day seems to be random

spare bulbs laying around? otherwise you will have to test the ballast with new bulbs, and test bulbs with new ballast. The room heat has nothing to do with it
