assuming you are asking about the brown stuff-- still not very clear but looks like it could be Diatoms, Cyanobacteria, or brown encrusting algae (Salfia or something like that).

Heres your picture. As for what it is I have no clue. Is it soft or hard to touch?

The reason your picture isn't showing up is because you have a space b/t the first img tag and the link. Get rid of that space and it should show up.

HTH.

Oh, and to what it is, it looks very similar to an algea that I see once in a while in my tank -- doesn't seem to grow that fast/out of control. IMO, pretty harmless.

Mine does not grow that fast. It took about 6 months to grow from the size in your photo to the size in my photo. It is a little bigger than the size of a golf ball.

looks like Lobophora a sheeting brown algae

the better scroll algae is this cool stuff called Padina
