Aqua C Remora
Is the pro worth getting or is there not much of a difference between the two skimmers. I am looking into buying one and wondering if I should just get the Remora rather than holding out for a deal on the Pro version.

I bought the regular remora with the maxijet 1200. perfect skimmer. takes awhile to break in but then works fine. if your using this for the 38 gallon then your more than fine.

Same here, Remora with the MJ1200. I had a fairly long break in period also. I like it.

The pro is nothing more than an expensive piece of junk. If you spend the highly overpriced tag, in a few months you will be purchasing another skimmer. They will pull a cup every two weeks. That is plain sad! I would definately avoid this skimmer.

If you're gonna drop $250+ on a skimmer, buy a real skimmer, like a euroreef.
