75 gallon tank
I just bought a 75 gallon tank made by Oceanview. I just noticed after I got it home(wasn't paying attention at the store I guess) that it doesn't have a center brace. The glass is at least 5/8 inch thick. Will I have a problem out of this? I looked at the plastic ring on top and there never was a brace. I hope this is good because I bought it from a store that went out of business.
Thanks |

I'm sorry,I went back and measured and the glass is 3/8 inch thick. It looks pretty thick but I've always seen tanks with a brace in the middle of the top.

Just FYI for anybody else who buys one of these aquariums. I just talked to a rep from ocean view in Pascagoula MS and he told me that the tank is made using 3/8 inch glass and it DOES NOT need a center brace. I like that if it holds up as good as a tank with a brace.
