Valonia Control?

I have a green bubbla algae growing in my tank. I searched melev's reef and found this picture: http://www.melevsreef.com/id/valonia.jpg

It looks exactly the same. That page says that emerald crabs eat the stuff. Is there another good way to control its growth?

Thanks.

Personally, I've never found anything that eats it---it's a phase, about once or twice a year, and it comes and then it goes away, replaced by something just as noxious. I had a green mithrax crab---she only ate coralline, that I could ever figure. Finally ate a bubble. My scarlet hermit ate 4, and had her beat. No, there's nothing that cures it but better water quality---I had to re-set up after a move and I'm going through it myself right now.

I bought a small rock with some on it along with some pollips.I didn't know what it was.It was in my tank for 3-4 months before I found out what it was.I bought a emerald crab.It took him about a week but it finally disappeared. But the best way I here to get rid of it is pull the infected rock out and cut it off and then rinse it before returning it to your tank.If that is possible.I t cuts off pretty easy.A buddy of mine bought out a guy's livestock and there was alot of it in there. We trimmed it off the best we could and did a rodi dip before putting it in his tank. There is still a little but he says his emeralds have been picking at it.
