decapsulating BBS eggs?

I got 1 lbs of eggs that doesn't hatch anymore.

I have no dechlorinator right now but could buy some.

I don't have a BBS net, but could use some coffee filter of some felt.

Any thing to worry? I think I'll buy some frozen seafood mix, thaw it, put it in a manual mixer with blade to get small bits and add the decapsulated BBS.

I was thinking of using the blender but it would get way too fine?

Anything to worry?

What are you trying to accomplish? This post isn't clear. Are you making yourself a cocktail or a cake? Or are you by chance trying to get your Brine shrimp eggs to hatch?

My eggs are old and don't hatch anymore. So I could just decapsulate them in bleach and feed them and use them in DIY food?

A dechlorinator is not an absolute necessity.
I hatch out and grow to adult for resale, and when I run out of dechlorinator, I merely rinse in tap water for about ten minutes.
The only problem I see for you is not having a brine shrimp net that holds the cysts while they are being rinsed. A coffee filter wouldn't allow for proper flushing in just ten minutes so if you can't find something that will work, you will have to rinse for a long period of time.
The plus side of things is that the unhatched decapped cysts have all their nutrient intact, unlike hatched ones that have begun consuming the nutrient as soon as they are hatched.
I haven't checked to see if it will work but you might try using nylons/panty hose to see if they will retain the cysts for rinsing.

rayjay did a test today, paper towel work as a net.
I used 50% diluted bleach and it took 20min.
I'm trying to hatch them to see. Or I'll just dump 1lbs in a gallons of bleach and make some food.

bond007069 they are harvested each year in salt lake

Cysts that are not stored under cool, dry conditions, soon loose the ability to hatch
It is recommended that they be kept in a refrigerator.
Many stores keep them on shelves or peg board and if the turnover is not sufficient, we see threads on "not hatching".
