Rinsing frozen food

How many people rinse their frozen food? What are the benefits?

If you let the food melt in a little RO/DI and strain the food from the water, you won't introduce as much phosphate and other junk.

I always thaw my food, then dump it and the water in a brine shrimp net to strain the material I don't want to put in my tank.
