fish gone crazy
just wondering i have isolated my fish. when i first got it it kept rubbing itself in the sand. now he was scratching himeself on anythign he saw rock, shells, but no sign of ich spots however he did scratch his skin off. and u can see it's off. hmph.....

In my experience this is def. some type of parasite infection, even if there are no visible signs YET.

Bacterial, Parasite... if not in QT I would try to do so ASAP

QT and 4-6 weeks of Hyposalinity... best way to treat this.

Skin irritation can be a sign of a water quality issue or a parasite. If its a parasite then treatment is based on the type of parasite .. ie hypo only works on ich, amylo takes copper, brook takes formalin etc). I would break out the water test kit and double check that .. and read up on how to setup a QT. Keep the fish under observation and if you determine it has a parasite be prepared to treat all the fish within the tank as most parasite issues are highly contagious.
