gluing up the plumbing on my skimmer
I was wondering if its alright to use the pvc glue to glue up the dark gray plastic pieces that came with my skimmer with the 2 part glue that they gave me for the pvc. For some reason I have a feeling that I have heard that the glue will melt this plastic. Could someone correct me if I am wrong

Can you test it on an inconspicuous area before to see what happens? Skip the primer and just use the pvc glue for the test.

By the way....pvc glue does melt pvc, that is how it works. It melts the 2 surfaces and then they bond with one another when you put them together.

yeah that is a good idea I will try with scrap pieces and see what happens
