Fish Funeral

I know this sounds stupid but one of my silver dollar fish just died. I had him for 12 years and he survived 2 moves, including a drive across the country one from a different state. how do you suggest i hold a funeral? ideas are much appreciated...

Sorry for your loss...I have several family memembers (ie pets) burried in my back yard. They all have little stone monuments and we all say a word or two...

Good luck.

doesn't sound stupid at all. my suggestion is to grab a couple of beers, drink one yourself, pour the other out on the grass and say "here's to you my fishy friend"

I guess that read a little funny. No, my Mother and I burried my tomato clown a few years back. She is happily enjoying retirement and loves gardening.

I just thought it was funny he mentioned it sucks losing a fishy friend, but not the mother!

Sorry for the loss though, 12 years is a long time! I'd say pick a nice spot in the yard and put a little stone over him. Thats what I did with my bearded dragon that died last year.
