1) no light for cheato - 2) too much carbon/phosban

1) I was installing my new phosban reactor and I bumped into the sump light and it fell in the water, looks like fish are good, nobody shocked, but my bulb blew out will cheatomorpha be ok until tommorow evening when I can go to HD and get new bulb, will it suck up all the O2, and release CO2, will it be enough to harm livestock

2) when adding media to reactor I think I might have put too much carbon and phosban, can you put too much?, alk is at 8 dkH and ph is at 8.3, are my fish and many coral in danger?, lots a softies, lots of frogspawn, and hammer coral.

1) Yea, the cheato should be fine until tomorrow -- I wouldn't worry about it too much.

2) IMO, you can use too much phosban the first couple of times that you using it. Meaning if this is the first time that you've ever used phosban ( or any similar media ) you should use less than is recommended. When I first started using it, I used too much the first time and had some bleaching of my SPS.

It will be fine. I've forgotten that i had a fuge before with chaeto in it and forgot to turn the light on for like a week and it was fine lol. One day is nothing.

Read the back of the phosban label. Mine says something about it might lower the pH or something. But your pH is perfectly fine, no reason to worry bout that...i cant remember what alk is supposed to be, but i'm thinking yours is also fine

As far as I know you can't over do it. I'm not sure how granular ferric oxide would effect overall tank pH but both it, and alkalinity, are good on Glock's tank. Here is more on the subject GFO Phosphate Binders

The label states that its 50 grams per 50 gallons, but that you can add more w/ out adverse affects, as long as you keep an eye on ph and alk, but you know labels cant always be trusted, and I know all you expert reefers here on RC are alot more trustworthy than a label.
