hot water rodi?

Doew the waste water that comes out the tube after the ro and goes down the drain supposed to be HOT? Does it maybe happen intermittently cause it is cool now? (NO I didn't have the hot water faucet turned on-duh) I don't think I have ever checked before, but the water is like maby 125 or 150 degrees. Is that normal?

Hate to say it but that will damage an RO membrane quickly. Where do you have the RO unit hooked up to?

If you are not supplying hot water to the system, and because RO systems don't heat the water, why is the water hot?

You either have a bad thermometer or your are sending hot feed water to the system.
