Ca Reactor Debris
Do you guys use some sort of pre-filter on your reactor supply pump to strain the incoming tank water? Also, do you have any concerns about debris from feeding, like phytoplankton, fouling the media in the reaction chamber at all?
Just curious.

I did not have any type of filter on my inoput to the CR. My input was fed via a tee from my return pump. As for fouling the media, I can't imagine that you could as the media, in most cases, in a natural part of the ocean. Therefore it is already exposed to and may even carry traces of plankton, bacteria and oother things not see witht he naked eye. I can't speak to synthetic media.
