Water Chemistry
Hello All,
I recently filled my saltwater tank (yesterday actually) I tested my water today. I had to add some salt and calcium to bring my numbers up. I use an RO/DI system to make water and my TDS out is 000, but my Phosphate, Nitrite and Nirate are very high. I seeded my filtration system with a micro-bacteria. Do I just need to be patient and let this cycle for a couple of days before testing again? Thanks for all the input, |

I tested my water every three days while cycling. But yeah just be patient and good things will come in this hobby.

Thanks Matt, I have been very patient up to now with my plumbing and filtration set up I know a little extra time will pay off.

aye, I wouldn't expect to see anything drop to acceptable levels for a month or so.. Do you have LR/ LS in there too?
