Battery Backup?
Does anyone know a good brand or type of battery backup to keep my pumps running in case of power outages? I've just got 2 Maxi jet 1200's that need to keep running.

i use the vortech powerhead and battery backup. Unit is costly, but works great, seen it in action 2 times already. Ran on battery power for 1 day. corals remained opened. Fish still swimming around.

I use an APC 750W to back up one of my Tunze 6100s. Works fine and I'm sure it would for MJ12's as well. You can get them anywhere computer stuff is sold.

Just so happens the 750W APC is on sale at Best Buy this week for $80.
