Metal Halide Lighting ?
I've got two 150w metal halide de lights. The bulbs are about 4 months old. In the last week or so, i've noticed that the right bulb will come on in the morning for a minute or so then shut off. Once it cools, it comes on again. Sometimes it will go on/off 2 or three times before it stays on??? Does anyone have any idea what this behavior is? Any help is appreciated.

Check the bulbs seating. It may be loose, so when it loses power, the bulb won't fire up till it cools again. Either that or you may have a loose connection if it was a DIY project!

Sounds like it could also be a ballast issue. Thats what usually happens to the street lights when they start to turn on and off.
